I love love LOVE my braids! I have very short hair but that wasn’t an issue for these ladies. They were very polite and professional which lead to a pleasant experience. The only thing is make sure you have a clear understanding on pricing (not overly expensive but just be clear). I will definitely return!

I had to take my braids out within 48 hours because they were extremely tight and uncomfortable. The braider is very heavy-handed and, while she knows how to braid, she lacks real styling skills and the ability to assess whether a style will actually work for a client’s hair.
During my appointment, she repeatedly complained that my hair was “too thick.” I’ve done my ancestry and I’m nearly 60% Nigerian — so for a Nigerian braider to act like she couldn’t work with my natural texture was disappointing and honestly strange. She also told me I shouldn’t wash my hair with the water here, even though my hair has always been this way. That should’ve been my first red flag.
If your hair is on the thinner side, I wouldn’t recommend going to her either, because her heavy hands will only cause damage. On top of that, her prices are very overpriced for the service received — I could’ve gotten the same style done elsewhere at a more affordable rate and with better care.
When I voiced my concerns afterward, her only response was that she was glad I took the braids out — but she never addressed the fact that I paid for a style I couldn’t keep. It really felt like she just took my money without caring about the outcome.

I found the shop from someone I knew in PDC and i decided to get my hair braided and when i tell you i didn’t know what to expect but the results were a 10/10!!!!!! I was so happy and in love with my hair and it o my took 4 hours from start to finish and my head does not hurt not one bit! My hair is so neat and so pretty! Absolutely happy with the results and she had a customer for as long as I live in playa del Carmen 💜💜💜

They took out my old braids, washed my hair, and put in the perfect style with my favorite colors red and black goddess braids.

So, this isn't my first time having my hair done by Ady. She's amazing with creating what you ask her to do. I travel from Cancun every time I want my hair done professionally and with great quality. Her and her family are very kind and inviting. I'm always comfortable when I go. She is very caring and kind. She gives her professional opinion on what will look good and how it will work for you. I like to try really daring things and she's such a big support even when I have second thoughts 😆. I highly recommend because I'm the end, it'll be what you want. #lookgoodfeelgood

I’m also super tender headed and we were able to make it so my head didn’t hurt. 10/10 thank you so much!

My hair looks amazing! She did a great job and worked quite quickly. She kept asking questions to ensure I was comfortable and was gentle while working. She also accomodated me so I could do my own work on my laptop while she did my hair which was super helpful. Highly recommend!
